Dear beach service friends: There is a 50% chance of rain tomorrow (June 9th). If we need to cancel because of weather I will post the announcement on this Facebook page. If so, we encourage you to join us at the church. Sunday School is at 10:00 a.m. Worship is at 11:00 a.m.

Dear East Gate Friends, Received word here on Saturday night that water is already up around the pavilion at Pot-Nets Seaside. Unfortunately, we will have to cancel the service for July 22nd. Shipwrecked Vacation Bible School August 6-10 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Wow, another rainy Sunday. Unfortunately, we have to cancel the beach service this morning. We hope you will join us for worship at 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Beach Service Cancellation: It is misting and foggy at the bay this morning, the beach service will not be held today. We hope you will join us for our 11:00 a.m. service at the church.

As of 7:45 a.m. the rain has stopped and our set up team is proceeding with set up. As of now we intend to have the beach service.

Beach Service Update: It is raining in Long Neck as of 7:15 a.m. We are monitoring the weather situation and will make a decision about the beach service shortly.

Though the forecast is high for rain tomorrow morning, we always wait until the morning before making a decision about holding or cancelling our beach service. If we have to cancel, a post will be placed on our Facebook page. If you do not see a post, assume the service is on, we don’t let grey skies keep us from holding the service. Heavy rain or lightning will mean we cancel. In such cases, we invite you to join us for Sunday School at the church (34806 Church Lane, Millsboro, DE) at 10:00 a.m. and our 11:00 a.m. service.
